Parvati Hill

Few days back we visited ‘Parvati Hill’ within the city area of Pune. One of the historical places, ‘Shiv-Parvati’ temple at the top of the hill. Other temples dedicated to Load Ganesh, Lord Kartikey and Lord Vishnu. It takes 100+ steps to climb up to the top of the hill.

So after that heavy exerciseΒ let’s take a break and enjoy the view around the temple. Let’s visit this together.

After you enter through this main gate there is a temple of the ‘Lord Shiva – Parvati’. A Photo shoot was not allowed inside the temple so could not capture any pics. Once you bowed there you can have options to do many things. You can view the city from the top of the temple but to go upstairs you have to buy a ticket! Of course it not so costly. Any guesses how much it will? Let me reveal it in pic only! πŸ˜› πŸ˜€ Visiting time is fixed for 30 minutes only! So hurry up.Let’s go quickly as the countdown has begun. πŸ˜›

And now you gonna say ‘Wow!’ This is just amazing! I mean just look at the scenes. This is super cool view ever! πŸ™‚ Check the photgraphs here!

Now let’s go down as it is so hot up stairs! I can’t keep my eyes open! πŸ˜‰ There are few things also that you can explore. Let’s visit the next place – It is sinceΒ Maratha Peshwa’s time and it is also the ‘Samadhi sthan'(Deathbed) of Nanasaheb Peshwa.Β

Inside this, you can find full history of Peshwa’s rule. Everything is written there. Their rule time, who was ruling during which time, thier ancisters, who rules for how many years and so on!

I tried to arrange it in sequence but still it may not be in sequence.

Now let’s move towards ‘Lord Kartikeya’ temple, ‘Lord Vishnu and Lord Hanuman’ temple.

So this is how the temple looks and its sorrounding! πŸ™‚ Let me add few natural clicks!

So this how we spent our time at Parvati Hill. Do visit it either early morning. Visiting time is 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. I hope you enjoyed this place through photographs!

The birds, goats, small creatures and of course, innocent kids madeΒ it, even more beautiful! πŸ™‚

Did you visit or explored any new place/s nearby your city? How was your experience? Share it here with me. Do mention your blog link in below comment box. I would love to visit it.
